Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 10, 2026

The simple version: MonkeyLio is a tool for quoting, getting a clear yes and keeping the job details together. Your business, your content and your payments stay yours. These Terms explain how the Service works and what we each promise.

1. Who we are

MonkeyLio is a quoting and job-management platform built and operated by UpPluck (“we”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the MonkeyLio website and app (the “Service”).

By creating an account, inviting staff, sending a proposal or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.

2. Accounts and setup

MonkeyLio accounts are set up for you by our team rather than through an open self-serve signup. Your business owner keeps control of the company account: inviting and removing staff, connecting payment credentials, and managing settings.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else can access it.

3. What MonkeyLio does

The Service lets a business create quotes and proposals, attach job photos, send them to customers by link or text, record a customer’s acceptance or decline, invite staff, assign jobs, request Google and Facebook reviews, keep customer records and notes, and record start and end times on a job.

Features may be added, changed or retired as the product develops. We will not remove a capability you are relying on without notice where we reasonably can.

4. Your content and your customers

You keep ownership of the material you put into MonkeyLio: quotes, business branding, terms and agreements, customer details, notes and photos.

Each business’s records are kept separate and are visible only to members of that business. You are responsible for having the right to upload photos and to hold and use the customer details you enter, including any consent your local rules require.

5. Proposals, terms and acceptance

The terms and agreement you save for your business are copied onto each quote when it is created, so a later edit to your defaults does not silently change a proposal a customer has already seen or accepted.

When a customer accepts through their proposal link, that acceptance is an agreement between you and your customer for the work described. MonkeyLio records the response; it is not itself a party to that agreement.

6. Payments

Customer payments are taken through the business’s own Stripe account, connected in business settings. Money goes from the customer to that Stripe account. MonkeyLio does not hold, advance or take a share of those funds, and does not act as a payment institution.

Stripe’s terms and fees apply to payment processing. Refunds, disputes, chargebacks and any questions about a payment are handled between the business, its customer and Stripe.

7. Text messages and email

MonkeyLio can send text messages from a shared MonkeyLio sending number to a customer’s mobile or to a member of your team, and can send email invitations and messages on your behalf.

Message and data rates may apply for recipients, and delivery is not guaranteed. You should only send messages to people you have a relationship with, and you are responsible for the content you ask the Service to send.

8. Time entries and location

Crew members can start and end time from a job. Each tap records the time from our server and, when the phone allows it, the phone’s approximate location and accuracy at that moment, together with the distance from the job address.

Location is captured only at those taps — the Service does not track anyone continuously. Readings depend on the device and its settings, can be inaccurate or missing, and are provided as a record to support, not as a legal or GPS-certified measurement. How a business uses this information for pay, scheduling or performance is the business’s responsibility, and this is not payroll, tax or legal advice.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: trying to access another business’s records, uploading unlawful, infringing or harmful material, sending unsolicited messages, attempting to disable or reverse-engineer the Service, or using it to store information you have no right to hold.

10. Availability, support and changes

The Service needs an internet connection and is provided on a best-efforts basis. We may suspend or change the Service for maintenance, security or product reasons.

Where we help a business as part of support, that access is time-limited and recorded in an audit log.

11. Suspension and closing an account

We may suspend or disable an account that breaks these Terms, puts other customers at risk, or where we are required to by law. A business owner can ask us to close their account.

Proposals and acceptances that form part of an agreement may be retained as records where we reasonably must, as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or losses arising from payment processing, message delivery, inaccurate device location, or actions taken by your own staff or customers.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. These Terms and governing law

We may update these Terms and will show the revised “last updated” date above. Continued use after an update means the update applies.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States.
