MonkeyLio for plumbing: setup and tips

Set up for your trade

1. Pick Plumbing as your trade in Settings to get the starter price list, checklist and equipment types.
2. Review your starter prices, like Service call / diagnostic, Labor, Drain clearing (sink or tub), and change them to your real prices.
3. Edit the job checklist in Settings so it matches how your crew actually works.
4. Connect Stripe so customers can pay from their link.

Your starter job checklist

1. Water shut off before work
2. Gas line leak-tested
3. Fittings checked for leaks under pressure
4. Drain flow tested
5. Work area cleaned up
6. Customer shown the finished work

Equipment worth logging

Track Water heater, Tankless water heater, Sump pump, Water softener, Well pump, Boiler, Backflow preventer at each customer's property, with a next service date so MonkeyLio reminds you and the customer.

A day with MonkeyLio

1. 8:10 — Emergency call: leaking water heater.
2. 9:00 — On site. Quote built from your price list, texted before you leave the basement.
3. 9:06 — Customer approves and pays the deposit.
4. 1:30 — Crew taps Start; the customer gets a heads-up text.
5. 4:15 — Done. Invoice sent, paid by dinner.
